Simulacrums

Reflections
Giant moving images that dissolve into one another
A face caught staring at itself on a display window
Offsetting the product that buys the face
A face with unsteady eyes that wishes to prove itself worthy of the product.

Simulacrums
Constantly changing
Like time lapse movies
Ghosts that become demons and sometimes end up as goblins
Demons that fly out on gossamer wings into a world and are better known as fairies.

Images
The fulcrum of society
a society playing against itself in a hall of mirrors
where bodies float in and out through the day
and as the night draws,
scattered, pretty faces try to find their missing parts.

Mirrors
Round, oval, long, polished and clean
dutifully representing every mole, blemish, tear and dimple
winning looks of admiration and sighs of defeat
majestic rulers of walls and dressers
But its the cracked ones that laugh the loudest
they owe no allegiance to beauty or pride
the crack after all is a repository of an intact soul.
